General information, not advice

The content on this website is general information about our services. It isn’t accounting, tax, financial, legal or immigration advice, and it doesn’t take your circumstances into account. Please don’t act on it without talking to us or another qualified adviser first.

Tax rules and thresholds change. We aim to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we don’t guarantee that everything on it is complete or current.

Working with us

Sending an enquiry, requesting a call back or booking a free chat doesn’t make you a client and doesn’t create a professional relationship. We only start work once we’ve agreed the scope and fees with you in a letter of engagement, and that letter sets the terms of our services.

Immigration-related support

Our employer accreditation and immigration support covers the accounting side: financial evidence, viability, cashflow forecasts, business plans and compliance documents. We don’t give immigration advice. For advice on visas or immigration applications, please see a licensed immigration adviser or a New Zealand lawyer.

This website links to other sites, such as our Google booking calendar and our Facebook page. We aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

The text, design and graphics on this website belong to Ascent Accounting Limited. Please don’t copy or reuse them without our permission. Xero, MYOB, iPayroll and Smartly are trademarks of their respective owners.

To the extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that can’t be excluded.
